Just attache small patches uncompressed, this allows other people to 
quickly see what changes you are offering. Compressing patches, 
especially small ones is decreasing the convenience for those people 
supposed to take a look at it and apply the patches, since they then 
have to first decompress and save the compressed patch file before 
even being able to give any comment.
