The patch is to provide font names in a format that a PostScript
compliant program can find them. So it only makes sense in a "finding
fonts" situation, when the fonts are NOT embedded. When the fonts are
embedded, you don't face this problem. This is an elusive but very common
problem Qt/KDE programs face (PostScript fonts problems). So thanks, JRT
for your efforts.
BTW, JRT, did you send your patch to Craig Drummond? I believe he was
into this fonts thing...
