I think you got a point with this.
And this mailing list may not be the worst place to discuss how to improve the
situation. Non-programmers who join here can also act as communicators
between the mailing lists.
At first we will try here to get people started, showing them how to start to
contribute, showing the appropriate mailing lists etc.
Additionally the plain quality stuff should be discussed here I think.
