KOrganizer is already in the todo of three volunteers! It seems the
quality is indeed attracting people! So I would suggest another
application instead. Check the doc status of the KDE PIM applications
here:

If I may suggest something, KPilot sems a good target.
Please subscribe to the kde-quality mailing list if you want to
coordinate the effort with other volunteers, or ask any question you
