I would like to inspire new contributors to adopt some of Tom Peters ideas.

This is a quality issue. We need to treat our users as a (well run) business
should treat its customers. We need to provide service to our users rather than
try to emulate Microsoft customer "service".

Tom Peters ideas are all about quality. We need to adopt them as we can never
achieve a dominant place in the market unless we eliminate the "user be damned"
attitude that some developers have.
