Hello,
Seems the tradition has been on the list to give a short introduction of one
self before stating what you would like to do.
My name is Jord Swart, I'm a 32 year old document/content management
specialist. Working with various OSes professionally for the last 6 years (or
7, age is getting on me). GNU/Linux/KDE fan since two years.
I have been lurking on this list for some time now. Don't have too much time
to really follow what is going on, since business wants me during the week
days. So I have been thinking what could be a nice task for me to do here.
Slashdot presented me with this nice piece:

Whatever you want to think of it, there is a point being made about
documentation, which IMHO cannot be taken too lightly. Although I am a
wannabee programmer, I realize that I'm probably not good enough to work
myself into the KDE project. I don't think I have the patience and time to
learn such an amount before actually getting some work done.
So, coming from a document management history, reading the article above, what
is better for me than work on some documentation.
I can contribute in Dutch and English. I could work with someone in German as
well, though I still tend to make a lot of speling mistakes, so Dutch and
English are probably the best choices.
I have a lot of experiences with almost all of the default KDE packages,
except for the games. So I was wondering which project is still looking for
someone who wants to offer his keyboard and spare time for a good manual?
If you are interested or know about a project, please drop me a line.
Cheers,
Jord
