Yes, of course. I don't think anyone is arguing otherwise or attempting to 
frivolise KDE's technical contributions. 

Quite the contrary, making KDE artwork available for users to personalise 
their devices, devices that will later be seen by others, will not detract 
from that, and may even have some effect in spreading awareness of our products 
through our brands, logos and mascots.
