CUPS and Pre-Filter options

Dear kprinter experts,

I have a problem with a "Special Printer" defined for kprinter.
Printing to this printer means handing the generated PS file to a script which
copies it to a remote host and executes a printing command there.
The print command in the kprinter filter looks as follows:
miprint-kde %filterargs %in
(Here miprint-kde is the script's name.)

The problem is that I cannot print multiple copies of a document; i.e. if I
set the number of copies in the KDE print dialog to 3, there's still only one
printout. I'd like to change this. :-)

I guess that the problem is that kprinter only hands over n = "number of
copies option from the print dialog" as the "-o copies=n" option for CUPS,
but there's no CUPS server involved in this scenario.
How could I make the filter pass n to the printer script? Is there a list of
supported options (like %filterarg, %in, etc.)?

Thanks in advance,
Anna
