Query regarding printer

It seems to me your printer is not correctly installed/detected/configured by 
your linux distribution. KDE is relying on the backend printing system 
offered by the distribution. If you can't make your printer work with command 
line tools (like lpr, lpq, lpstat, lprm) then you can't make it work with KDE 
and KDE can't do much for your printer.

Please consider contacting the community or the creators of your Linux 
distribution which might be aware of what could cause your problem.
