Too bold fonts.

I don't see anything wrong here and in the file you sent. The font looks like correctly
embedded. When viewing the file (under Windows), I don't have that feeling of too
bold font, it looks normal.

The PPD file defines that fonts that are built in the printer or the printer driver
(the latter being ghostscript most of the time, except for native PS printers). Those
fonts do not have to be provided to the printer, other fonts should be embedded if
you want correct print result.
But again, your PS file looks normal.
