George, Cristian, if one of you wants to implement it, see XPP 
(http://cups.sf.net/xpp/) for an example implementation of a Foomatic 
3.0 integer/float/string/password GUI frontend. See also the 
documentation of the Foomatic PPD extensions in the README file of the 
foomatic-db-engine package.
