Openoffice.org & kprinter: lose first page when printing 2 pages per sheet

Can you try to print from OpenOffice, through kprinter, select
"Print to File (PS)" as target printer, select multiple pages per sheet
and print. Then try to print the resulting file on your real
printer using "lpr". Does this work?
