Totally odd kde vs print problem

This didn't seem to effect what was going on, and they were not 
re-created when I ran it from the shell.  However, here are the 
contents, first of kdeprintrc:
[General]
Orientation=1
ViewType=1
ViewToolBar=true
ViewPrinterInfos=true

And of kprinterrc:
