Sorry,

after sending my previous mail i realised that i always mixed up the order of input- and outputfile in the command-line.

Use:
gs -q -dNOPAUSE  -dSAFER -dPARANOIDSAFER -dBATCH -sstdout=%stderr -sDEVICE='tiffg3' -r'204x196' -sOutputFile=print.tif print.ps

Some "googling" was useful ;-) 

Very interesting part: the "tiffg3"-device will already "render" a multi-page-tiff-file.

Now I will have look how to use kmail to send this file as attachment...
