Cannot print from KDE applications

The problem is still there: connection to the CUPS server is *very*
slow, this may be due to name lookup. When KDEPrint contacts the CUPS
server, it uses the network name mentionned in the URI of the
concerned printer. It's possible that a name lookup occurs at that
point, which is very long for some reasons that are out of the
scope of KDEPrint. Just 2 little things:

1) be sure to modify the file cupsd.conf (you mentionned cups.conf_new)

2) be sure to restart the CUPS server
