I reported kde printing problems in Fedora 10 more than a year ago at
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=480954

I was asked to upstream it, which i did by adding comment #12 in
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=176999.

This was upstreamed to qt as  http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/browse/QTBUG-6468
and http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/browse/QTBUG-6469

and these are still open. I'm wondering if maybe the problems that we see in
the distro (printing from kde apps has a problems) is too far removed from the
source of the problem, Qt. It takes some effort to follow these though three
bugzillas.


It would be great if someone at kde could champion these issues and help get
them resolved. As it is, I have no idea whether the Qt people will ever resolve
them.
