Well, everybody who downloaded the packages from ftp.kde.org has the right to 
get the source patches... so far the legal point. But it's also quite ok to 
release the full source code instead of patches (in order to reduce work and 
make him stop complaining ;-).

What Scott describes in his mail was the way we wanted to go, but somehow it 
got stuck for whatever reason. So I also suggest to proceed this way. 

Actually right know I'd consider it more important to get CVS HEAD ported to 
the Forte compiler before the release in december. It's probably quite some 
work, but might also include some bugfixing. George <staikos at kde.org> is also 
doing the AIX and the xIC port at the moment. Maybe you can talk to him about 
how to deal with things.

BTW, it also took me quite some time to get a CVS account ;-) I guess this is 
some kind of filtering to scare off people who are not really interested in 
KDE.
