Hi,

If KDE PIM is to blame, then it would have to be some Akonadi resource that 
does notes - check Akonadi Console for which resources you have, and if there 
are any notes resources (txt/x-vnd.akonadi.note), check their configuration.

I would suspect some misconfiguration of "Local Notes" or "Notes" resources.
