Hi

first of all: great that you are interested in contributing to KDE PIM.

As for any KDE project the ususal steps to get involved are:


1 build the project

2 find some minor issues / bugs / juniorjobs you want to work on

3 create a patch and submit it to reviewboard


In regards to Kontact: We as in the KDE PIM community have yet to talk
about how / if we want to take part in GSoC this year.

That is also why we have little prepared for appling students atm.
