Imho it cannot be much more easier than to provide a kdesrc-build config
file,
download it in a desired folder and run "kdesrc-build". There's really
nothing
more to it, so not much tool learning needed.

I think that should be the way to go, kdesrc-build is being used around KDE
already (at least frameworks and Plasma/workspace bits). So keeping the same
stuff could only be beneficial; newcomers can then expect the same
procedures
for different KDE parts and would actually be spared of having to learn new
ways
when switching between projects (kf5/plasma/pim).
