If you're comfortable with the code, go for it. (frameworks branch sounds
sensible, but others may know better). You're the maintainer (and your
proposal sounds reasonable).
Aleix had started splitting out some bits, it's pending
- a plan how to go about splitting
- the resulting repos should retain history, which his approach doesn't
Maybe KHolidays can be taken in the same go?
