Okay thanks ... the imap issue is completely fixed in 4.13 beta 3.  
Kmail Mail folder resource does not emit a "broken" notification anymore, but 
it shows "ready", but shows an icon that does not indicate that it is ready, 
see attached screenshot (minor issues, but could maybe add some perfection 
:-)) 
Mbox resource does still emit a broken notification in 4.13 beta 3, I suppose 
the patch did not make it in beta3?
