this is not only in control of kmail. The mailinglist can tell, what it 
preferred mail, when reply to an mail. This is either the author of an email 
or the mailinglist. Before blaming kmail plase make sure that the preferend 
reply address is the mailinglist.

All the symbols are valid greek symbols. The triangle one is called Delta (a 
capital D).

what is missing, is a screenshot of one programm, that parses that VCard as 
expected. I only read from your side only from programs, that can't handle 
this VCard. So I would also say, that this VCard is invalid.
