Hi Jos,

open Akonadi Console, go to "Browser" tab and check for duplicated folders in 
"Local Folders", like having "Trash" folder and "whatever trash is called in 
your language" folder. Delete one of  the duplicates, restart Kontact and you 
should be fine.
