Kinda of difficult with out my environment (email account) for you to test
against.
Message Status =Unread is almost always out. A search on "Subject contains"
(nothing) is always out for me, sometimes by just a few msgs, sometimes up to
2000 missing from a 4000 msg folder.
NB:It is consistent across different machines, i.e its wrong, but wrong the
same way :)
One search I was doing might be ok after all, I'll expand in a seperate email

Related to above - it always seems to be the same folder missing for me
(mythtv-users email list). I wondered if the indexer was encountering a
malformed msg in this folder and being bolloxed after that.

That would be really useful.

Thats a bummer, reduces their utility close to zero for me.

You're sure on that? for me some searches are accurate, same search different
keyword was not which sounds a lot like a inconsistent index.
Is anyone looking at this bug?
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=315985
For anyone effected by it indexing will fail to happen at all unless they
manually start the feeder. I know of several users on pim-users effected by
it.
