just one more problem: If a new akonadi database starts with unique ids from 1,
like it does, chances are good that existing filters suddenly have a different target
directory.

That is very near to data corruption, IMHO. With the 100 filters I had with kmail1,
that would mean a lot of checking and moving messages into the right folders.
If I forget to redefine all filters after removing the cache and before polling
mail accounts. But that will be forgotten. Unless akonadi-cache tells kmail that
all collection ids have been invalidated and clears them from filters.
