Hi, Scarlett.  We would welcome some help with user documentation,
starting from http://userbase.kde.org/Kontact. You are welcome to ask
me for any help, either through this email address, or on IRC.  I am
usually around on Freenode's #kde-www - if I don't answer your query
leave me a Query and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Questions asked on #kde-www are likely to get help from others, too,
as several contributors there are involved in the wiki documentation.

It may be that some of the newer features are only available from
certain versions, so we would need documentation to fit all recent
versions.  As you can see, it's an on-going job.
