Hi Anne,

I'm not quite sure what you mean. I'm using openSuse.
The problem I had with kdepim-users was, that in my mailing-list account 
settings ( https://mail.kde.org/mailman/options/kdepim-users) the field 
"Mail delivery" was set to "Disabled".
