No, there isn't, and that was what I was trying to suggest with 
UID_RECURRENCEID. We still need to link the exceptions to the main event 
though, as parsing a UID pattern is not the right way to establish the link 
between the exception and the main event. Hence my proposal to store the 
exceptions within  the main event, which I think is conceptually the right 
think. e.g event is hidden -> exception is hidden, event is deleted -> 
exception is deleted, event isn't public -> exception is not public either. 
Without the containment that would have to be ensured in every place somehow 
dealing with events.
