[Kde-pim] Help getting started with contributing to KMail

Hey,
I am interested in contributing to KMail, the mailing client for KDE. What
are the requisites for the same? Also, if anyone can provide me with
instructions/links/tutorials as to how to proceed with the contribution
then that would be nice.
