Since you mentioned bills, I vaguely remember that some people working on KDE
finance related applications were considering data sharing through Akonadi at
some point.
They might have ideas for or maybe even prototypes of classes related to
storing things like bills in a common format, using such format for data
serialization for Akonadi, etc.
