[Kde-pim] akonadi and continual disk activity

Nepomuk *is* disabled entirely. That's one of the first things I do on a new
KDE4 installation. Nepomuk has never been used on this system. So whatever the
cause of all my akonadi-related problems, it is nothing to do with nepomuk.

All this was with a completely clean installation of KDE4, so it can't even
have been caused by any kind of problem with an upgrade from an earlier version.

I've spent too long on it now. This is my main desktop system, so I need
things to Just Work; I've now turned off akonadi in order to have a usable
machine, and when I get a chance I'll go looking for replacements for calendar
and contact functions.
