What I think the bug is about is that even if mails are kept in a hidden 
folder that folder should be inside the path the akonadi resource points to, 
i.e.:

~/.local/share/local-mail/.local-mail.directory

or the resource should show as path:

~/.local/share/.local-mail.directory
