[Kde-pim] Requirements for working with kaddressbook

Hi list,

I have the desire to try and fix some bugs in kaddressbook. I have to work on 
this very modest netbook, so I would like to have to build as little as 
possible from source. Could someone help me with a list of what is rquired? 
And some advice, can I install outside the system paths and still work with 
the installed kdelibs and qt?
