There are two ways to get logs from akonadi:

- through .xsession-erros (or the current console if you start akonadi from 
there). It is suggested to enable only the debug areas you are interested in 
with kdebugdialog
- through akonadiconsole's various debugger tabs. Note that enabling those 
will seriously slow down akonadi, so enable only when needed.
