Thanks for the update.  I just offlined and restarted the agent from
akonadiconsole.  That brought it down to sane levels.  Will keep an eye
on this and report a bug if I can reproduce.  This is on 4.8.2, btw.
and the machine usually runs 24/7, so this may have crept in, too. (And
the resource goes offline every now and then without a particular
reason.)
