I totally agree - but don't feel competent to write it.  What I can
do, is offer to receive any information in a plain text file and
handle the wiki-isation.

I do understand that the few developers have had their work cut out
gettng KMail 2 off the ground, but it's now time to address the needs
of the user.  Too many people have had a bad experience, which we all
realise has been at least partly due to lack of information and
suitable preparation, to say nothing of the KDE 4.0-like experience of
some distros moving on without warning people.  The first and very
important thing would be to agree on what needs to be tackled, and
agree a structure.  Once we have this as a series of page links,
people can volunteer information to fill out the various pages.

Could we use this thread just a little more, to debate the
requirements?  Once that has a good start I can create pages in
UserBase to hold the content.
