I tried looking into this problem once, but I couldn't reproduce and therefore 
moved on. The bug is most likely in kdelibs, i.e. KTcpSocket, and not in 
kdepim.

From the recent activity on the bug report, it seems like Dawit is having a 
look, he is a khttp developer and therefore knows a bit about these classes. 
However he can't seem to reproduce the problem either...
