[Kde-pim] Putting Akonadi on the Server?

Hi all,

In the scope of our Kolab 3.0 considerations [1] we're also thinking about 
putting Akonadi on the server. 

We've actually looked a little at feasibility already between Till, Volker, 
Aleksander Machniak, Jeroen van Meeuwen, Thomas Brüderli, Christian Mollekopf 
and myself. What we ended up with looked a bit like this in theory: [2]

Our conclusion was: It is interesting enough to experiment with, and may very 
well end up providing more resources, maturity and stabilization towards 
Akonadi on all platforms, desktop & mobile included.

We welcome everyone who wants to join us in the experiments. :)
