The problem is, ktimetracker does not save if autotracking is enabled. ktimetracker saves the desktoplist. In case of an empty desktoplist, it understands that the task is not autotracked by desktops and does not show "autotracking" as enabled. If you activate "autotracking" and check any desktop, you will see that this setting is remembered.
