In the long run, it would be nice to have a unified system tray API for 
Kontact, and to have a unified system tray instead of multiple when Kontact is 
running.
Wish with over 1000 votes, see http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=75446.

Also, the system tray of KMail 2 needs to be ported to Akonadi.
We also have to port the system tray to the new Plasma way, see 
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=240192.

I think some of these system tray issues would make for nice junior jobs.
