[Kde-pim] Just checking - kdepim+nepomuk question

Yesterday Kevin Kofler wrote in userbase "Please also note that Akonadi, and 
thus your Kontact applications, works even with Nepomuk disabled, it just 
cannot perform any indexing (which affects contacts in KDE SC 4.4 and will 
affect all PIM data in KDE SC 4.5) without Nepomuk. "  Is this correct?  I was 
under the impression that nepomuk was essential although strigi was not.  Can 
you clarify, please?
