Well, it doesn't work for me :-)

If I run "make test" in kimap (trunk), it will get to some point in the 
tests (sometimes just to "Start 1: kimap-fakeservertest"), then freeze.  
I've tried running individual tests manually, and sometimes they 
complete, and sometimes the jobs just get stuck in their internal event 
loop.

Can you think of any reason why this happens?
