OK.
No write support is fine.
But kmail-1 sometimes crashes while updating the index file, or sometimes goes
to "fatal exit" with the error:
Could not sync index file <b>/home/dfaure/Mail/.kde-packager.index</b>:
Resource temporarily unavailable"
(No idea why; the file exists; maybe the fix-the-index code re-enters itself
while the dialog box about the index being out of date is up...)
Anyway, I guess fixing kmail-4.4 isn't on anyone's list.
