The MixedMaildirResource has read support for KMail's index files in order to
preserve index data (flags and tags) when proividing access for Akonadi.

The validity check is basically a check for modification timestamps. As long
as there is no change within a the folder, the index file stays valid and can
be re-read by the resource and by KMail1.

Write support could be added but it would add another portion of ancient code
which will have to be maintained.

Cheers,
Kevin
