[Kde-pim] How to debug the kio_pop3 or other process started from kdeinit4

OK, so far.
But the part "kdeinit4" of the command.

Is it a difference of kdeinit4, not to create a new instance of it, but to 
only re-read the environment?

I, as a newcomer, should be happy to read such explanations in the "howtos".
