[Kde-pim] Reply to Author != Reply to Author ?

I don't think anybody (users, not developers knowing kmails code)
knows the difference.

In your view.
I'm using kmail since KDE2, but I've not used the right-mouse option on the
From address a single time. I did not even know it exists (but thanks for the hint).
What does this tell us ?
The right mouse popup option is simply not a user friendly way to achieve what
one expects.
And I'm not sure if another option "reply really to author" ;-) or
"reply to From address" is the best solution.

Ok, I understand. But therefore we have the "reply to" action, which I assume
is what 99.9% of people are using when replying.

As said above: the current solution is not obvious.
