The POP3 project is probably part of a Google Summer of Code project. If 
you're looking for a Summer of Code project, you probably need to come up with 
an own idea.

If you're looking for general coding tasks for KMail, have a look at 
http://techbase.kde.org/Projects/PIM/KMail_Junior_Jobs. This list contains 
some starter tasks. I recommend doing small things like these first before 
starting a big project (if it is not a GSoC project).

Oh, and please start new threads instead of hijacking old ones by replying to 
some old mail.
