[Kde-pim] kmail 1.11.0 and dimap

Hello Hello,

I have built kdepim from the 4.1.96 sources and all seems to be okay 
except for dimap. I have a server running dovecot for imap access and it 
has been working great for years using kmail. My primary system is a 
laptop, so I do not always have network access, so I have fallen in love 
with dimap.

Unfortunately with kmail 1.11.0, I have run into a problem. Everything 
seems to work okay, then suddenly the hard drive starts running like mad 
and I lose all control of the laptop. Several times I had to forcibly 
power it off and reboot! I have tried using regular imap, but dimap has 
spoiled me and I cannot tolerate the lag of imap.

I am not really sure how to figure out what kmail is doing when I lose 
control of the machine, but if I am patient and wait I can open a 
konsole and run killall -9 kmail and it will give me control back.

What could be doing this, or what do you need to know to help fix this?
