[Kde-pim] KMail Needs Some Love (before 4.4)

I get this problem sometimes too, but it was far worse in KDE 4.2, before
I enabled Akonadi at all. Of course, if the current bug is related to
Akonadi, there could have been another error with the same symptoms which
has since been fixed.
